For Adults

During this time of isolation and distancing, we want to help your family grow closer to each other and to Christ.

Below are links to resources for adults to pray and share using teachings based on the Sunday’s Gospels.

We encourage you to set aside time mid-week with your spouse or roommates to use these resources to pull even more out of the Gospel message from the previous Sunday.

These are the resources we use for our Small Groups. When all of this is over, and we can return to the way things were, we’d encourage to to join a Small Group and share and grow with the broader community.

Join us in praying together, growing together, and supporting each other in the spirit of the mercy and generosity of Christ, our Lord.

For the Fourth Week of Easter (May 3 – May 9), here’s a link to download a video to discuss with friends and loved ones. AND Here are the questions. This week we’re on the final week, Week 4.

You can download them and use them at home with your spouse or roommates or if you live alone, simply download, watch, and discuss the questions over the phone, Facetime, GoogleDuo, or whatever video conferencing format you’d like with your friends or loved ones.

For Holy Week (April 5 – April 11), there are no resources for adults this week. We will begin a new series beginning Easter Sunday.

Summit for Families

Summit is a resource that was initially created by Life Teen for high school teens, but it has been adapted for family use. This lectionary-based discipleship group is designed to help you, as a parent, lead your teen (and family) into a deeper understanding and appreciation for Scripture and the Mass.

The leader guide provides detailed instructions, so you can lead your family through the Summit session. Review this guide prior to the session, so you are able to lead your family well. Encourage your family members to write down any questions that come up as you go through each session. If you are able to answer the questions, great, but do not feel like WELCOME TO SUMMIT Summit is a resource that was initially created by Life Teen for high school teens, but it has been adapted for family use. Consider calling other families in your community and encouraging them to take part in Summit, as well. Share your experiences with these families as you work through each week. Also consider using FaceTime or another video chat platform to discuss the questions with other families and grow in community with one another.
